The default registration form on the “My Account” page looks something like this:

To access this page, click the accounts icon at the top of the page. Then, enter your email address and select if you will be a customer or a vendor.

If you select customer, you can, at a later date, upgrade the account to a vendor account. If you select Vendor, you will, by default, be able to purchase from the site as well.

Selecting either will require you to upload a proof of ID and address in order to adhere to our Anti Money Laundering compliance. Until we verify this ID, you will not be able to complete a purchase. Registering as a vendor will require additional verification further in the registration process. Please upload a copy of your government ID (commonly a driver’s license, passport, or national ID card).

I am a Customer

Once you enter your email address and click Register, you will automatically be logged in to the platform. You will also receive an automatic email that asks for you to set up a password. Click the link in this email to setup your password.

After you have setup the password, you will be taken back to the login page. Just login again.

I am a Vendor

To become a vendor, we need a little more information to set up the account. Enter your Email, Name, Store name, Address, and Phone Number. Agree to the terms and conditions. Finally, select the subscription tier you would like.

After you click Register, you will be taken to Checkout to process the purchase of the Subscription. Once this is purchased, you will automatically be logged in to the platform and be presented with the SetUp Wizard. You will also receive an automatic email that is asking for you to setup a password. Click the link in this email to setup your password.

After you have setup the password, you will be taken back to the login page. Just login again.

SetUp Wizard

When a seller registers an account for the first time in a Marketplace powered by Dokan, they get the opportunity to use this Wizard. It gives the seller a step-by-step guideline on how to set up their store easily. At first, it shows an introduction to the quick SetUp Wizard.

After clicking ‘Let’s Go!’ button, the Wizard takes you to the store setup page where you have to provide details about your store. You can include your address and other relevant information. When you are done, click on the Continue button.

Please Note: You can skip this step, but you have to include this information later from your Store Setting page.

The next step helps you to configure your Withdraw options.

After providing all the information, click on the Continue button. It will show you a confirmation message and ask you to go to your store dashboard. You can also return to the marketplace by clicking on the link at the bottom of the Wizard.

Customer/Vendor Account Dashboard

Once logged in, you will see the Account Dashboard. You can always get back to the page by going to the Account icon and clicking the ‘My Account’ link.

The only difference on this page between customers and vendors is the ‘Become a Vendor’ section below. An actual vendor will just have a button to access your Vendor Dashboard.
