About the artist
Born and living in North Staffordshire . Dan paints mostly from the figure and landscapes. He’s a strong believer in working from life and so his work concerns itself with his world and how he experiences it. It’s his to present a distilled vision of the world he lives in and that you will see it and identify with it. He likes to rethink his approach to painting every so often. He says that experimenting has been very rewarding and now he has a variety of styles to draw upon. Dan was chosen as a competitor in 2020 for Sky TV portrait artist of the year.
